Dr. Konstantinos Makripidis was born and raised in Athens. He studied medicine at the University of Turin. He started working as a rural general practitioner in Crete in 2001 and he completed his specialty in Οtorhinolaryngology at the General University Hospital of Larissa in 2009, when he received recognition in his specialty. He also worked at the General Hospital of Nafplio and the General Hospital of Tripoli. In 2006, he trained and worked at Barnet London NHS hospitals and J.K. University Hospital Middlesbrough in the United Kingdom.
He has held a master’s degree since 2006 and he is a University of Athens PhD candidate.
In 2010, he worked as otorhinolaryngologist at NIMTS Hospital of Athens. As he was working there, he performed many otorhinolaryngology procedures, emphasizing facial aesthetic surgery and surgeries for snoring therapy and adult and child sleep apnea therapy.
He has been a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery since 2010 while in 2011 he received certification in this field by Karolinska University Hospital of Sweden.
He likes sports and especially swimming. In fact, he was member of the national team, Balkan winner and Greek champion.
He speaks English, Italian and French fluently.
